New York based designer Katie Gallagher hated wearing clothes when she was young, but always wore her cat on her head. She graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design, and has been working on her own since. Katie Gallagher’s collections feature unconventional patternmaking, strange volumes, secrets, and the idea that fashion is not just about fashion, but rather about the stories, moods, ideals, and attitudes of the designer herself. Theme for A/W 2013-14 collection was "The Winter Froze You Away” so with raven capes, wool knit thighs, and "frozen" skirts she is making warm and cozy look.
