Jill.J - A/W 2014

Not so long ago, Beijing based designer Jill.J released new collection for Fall/Winter 2014.  Despite fact that collection is supposed to be for cold days, it actually seems very light and sophisticated. Drop crop pants, long shirts, blazers and coats are done in monochrome combinations with print and stripes. Overall style is light layered with plain cuts focused on wearer silhouette.

D.GNAK by KANG.D - S/S 2015

D.GNAK is young Korean menswear label of designer Kang Dong Jun (강동준). Born in Seoul and trained at NY's Parson's School of Design, Kang launched his debut at Fall 2008 Seoul Fashion Week. Name D.GNAK is formed from the mirrored reflection of Kang's name. It expresses his fascination with disruption, eclecticism and experimentation. Designer's vision is popular avant-garde - a brand that stands for both - the underground and the mainstream style without compromise in quality or cut.
The S/S 2015 collection is quite layered, with both materials and the styles. Oversized ponchos and skirt like trousers over paneled pants, hoods over shirts, biker jackets, parkas and blazers, printed shirts... and all combined with high top sneakers/sandals in urban and futuristic style. With this collection, D.GNAK is exposing a strong male figure.

Erevos Aether - "Wake the Serpent Not" A/W 2014-15

When we talk about futuristic, explicit, unique, cyber, experimental and artistic style of fashion, Erevos Aether is the name that you need to know. Label was launched in 2011, and since then presents a challenging vision for the future. Erevos Aether design philosophy is interplay between perennial opposites, good and evil, decent and decadence, matter and antimatter. Each collection has its own story to tell, a vision to show... and collection for Fall/Winter 2014-15 is hidden behind the words of great English poet:

"Wake the Serpent Not"

Wake the serpent not -- lest he
Should not know the way to go, --
Let him crawl which yet lies sleeping
Through the deep grass of the meadow!
Not a bee shall hear him creeping,
Not a may-fly shall awaken
From its cradling blue-bell shaken,
Not the starlight as he's sliding
Through the grass with silent gliding.

Percy Bysshe Shelley
