Barbara I Gongini - A/W 2015

During Copenhagen Fashion Week BARBARA I GONGINI presented another great collection for Autumn/Winter 2015. With constant inspiration drawn from her own world and combined with reality, designer showed her spirit and strength through the creations and continues to push the boundaries of fashion. For AW 15 collection, silhouette was slightly more exposed than previously, focus was on functionality and inventive designs are draped in a monochromatic color palette of black, grey and white. Combination of different materials (wool, sleek fur, leather, jersey, textured linen) and styles layered upon each other are creating sea of possibilities for wearer to pick.

MINOAR - "Silk Error" S/S 2015

MINOAR presents first female collection for upcoming Spring/Summer 2015 named "Silk Error". Innovative collection fulfill the look of futuristic fashion with its sculptural form and sterile look. The 'Silk Error' arises from the structural figuration of the accidental encounter with the concrete Pantheon-Monument Gurgulyat (Bulgarian: Гургулят). The collection finds proximity mainly in the way how the pantheon cast shadows in a unique illusionary manner altering the overall shape.

Admirable - "Wolf Town" S/S 2015

Polish streetwear brand Admirable has recently released a new collection for Spring/Summer 2015 under name "Wolf Town". Collection itself is amazing, but the lookbook left me speechless. Silhouettes in black/white/grey technical pieces with prints spread around in different shapes in full cyber mirrored surrounding. Main inspiration was movie 'TRON' from 1982.

Rick Owens - "Sphinx" A/W 2015-16 Mens Runway

Sphinx - name of Owens new collection for A/W 2015, as well as the name of the French movie that was the main inspiration for his creations. Indeed, the name suits is perfectly. It is enigmatic, vicious and unusual. Beginning of the show starts with great tailoring - coats, shorts, knit, jackets, shirts... while later everything turned upside down. Freedom of forms, cuts, styles, movement. Loudest 'thing' about collection was, for sure, 'peephole' cut-out tunics. “Nudity is the most simple and primal gesture – it packs a punch. It’s powerful. It’s a straight world now. It says something about being independent. Who else can really get away with this stuff? It’s a corporate world! This was our private moment”, said Owens.
Straight forward collection from Mr. Owens got me wonder... what's next?

Boris Bidjan Saberi - A/W 2015-16

Boris Bidjan Saberi - Paris Fashion Week - A/W 2015-16
Striking at the very beginning of the collection - vibrant orange color that slowly fades as the collection unfolds and starts mixing with black, grey and white. Even though collection seems like it could be continuing from previous season, Boris Bidjan Saberi always finds his way to create better and 'upgraded version' of his previous work. Blazers, vests, knit, cargos, parkas, leather jackets, jumpsuits in urban sportswear yet sharp and grungy style are nicely layered to 'expose' uniqueness of silhouette and contrast the uniformity.
