Esther Perbandt - "Neutrois" A/W 2013-14

You get what you see!” With her special look, her Berlin sassy slang and her constant willful style Esther Perbandt is nothing if not distinctive. As seasons change in fashion, the designer stays true to her personal style and lives up to it with all the trimmings, so that her persona could have originated from her own look book: an androgynous silhouette is blurred with deconstructed details and put together again with the backing of classical menswear. Sober colors form the quiet basis for the grueling interplay of elegance and athleticism. Her creations stay so heartily and authentic, just like you imagine a real Berlin capital gal. Brainpower meets someone with feet on the ground when it comes to textile poetry slam.

Nicolas Andreas Taralis - S/S 2014

Taralis was influenced by the artist Gordon Matta-Clark this season, and made more sophisticated direction for Spring. The women's pieces were largely borrowed from menswear—quite literally, in some cases, where the designer styled a shirt as a dress or repurposed portions of a boxy jacket into one more tailored to the feminine form. Also with this collection designers seems to re-discover himsef and focus on contrast, forms and cuts.
