Coded Edge - ''Reticent'' S/S 2015

For new S/S 2015 collection, Coded Edge found inspiration in an imaginary post-apocalyptic vision of the city, like Huxley "Brave New World" or Orwell's "1984", depicting the dystopia that is only seemingly utopian. The City that after the destruction of the world and the total system collapse, again finds stability in the new order, the inauguration of the new age religion, the division of society into castes, strictly formalized, controlled and uniform structure.

“He who controls the past controls the future. He who controls the present controls the past.”
George Orwell, 1984

Chromat - "FORMULA 15" S/S 2015

Chromat began in 2010 as an extension of McCharen’s degree in architecture. Her continued interest in scaffolding, city maps, wearable exoskeletons and the intricacies of undergarments have been explored as each new collection develops. Chromat focuses on structural experiments for the human body.

The Chromat S/S 2015 “Formula 15” Collection was inspired by the parallel ideologies of conceptual artist Sol LeWitt’s Wall Drawing Series and the process of tracking athletic movement through the use of wearable technology. "Formula 15" Collection imagines a world where clothing will be downloaded online and garments will function as data machines to both observe and empower the reality of our bodies.

[EYES & SINS] - "PROTOTYPE-ZERO / 零式" A/W 2014

[EYES & SINS] production line launched its first collection PROTOTYPE-ZERO / 零式 focusing on materializating conceptual designs and utilization of military clothing as a basis for deconstruction. Each item is experimented for correspondence in order to allow interchangeability and creative layering by wearer.

"By addressing the adaptability of military maneuvers necessitated in different environments, our militaristic array of garments imitates the creation of “original prototypes” and its process. Prototype-Zero emerged just yet an initialization activated by deconstruction and should continue to progress and substantially formalize our concepts into reality."
